This is a valuable collector book. Written by Joan Edwards.  Published in 1975 This out of date no longer published hardcover book. It is sought after by collectors.  It is indeed a lavish book of the history of English Crewel Work. It is filled with lush photos of textiles, patterns and designs. It brims with fascinating history of this art form. It discribes the skill of doing it. Lovely patterns to copy and use for inspiration.  This is an awesome book of history of a lovely form of embroidery.  This would be a great investment and a book of important creative history. I am selling the book itself for $15. but have added $5. to the charge to pay the extra shipping costs required on such a heavy book.
